Evening Prayer on Tuesday’s at St Mary Mags (6pm)
In todays hectic London, it is rare to be able to grab 30 mins of calm, peaceful prayer and reflection. Why not come along to evening prayer, and allow yourself a moment of quiet to be with god.

St. Peter’s Support Services

Support Services are available to everyone who needs them. On Wednesday mornings, we run a breakfast club, and on Saturdays, we host a lunch club, and we assist vulnerable locals with form-filling and casework. As of now, our Thursday food bank serves 30-35 people per week and our meals service covers 50-60 people, but keep in mind that we deliver meals three to four times per week. Most of the food we receive comes from The Felix Project and City Harvest (which give us supermarket overstocks, as well as cooked meals and produce from restaurant chains).

A Concert of Devotional Music for Holy Week
Palm Sunday April 10, 2022, at 6.30pm
After the success of their video made during lockdown last year, instead of their ‘Music for Holy Week’ concert on Palm Sunday, Guildhall Alumni Choir is delighted to be able to present an in-person concert including much of this wonderful music plus a few more items appropriate for the season.
It will be a joy to sing this wonderful repertoire in St Mary Magdalene for the first time. In addition we are pleased to welcome again soloists who have sung and played with the choir at different times in the past as well presenting new ones.
If you are not able to attend but would like to hear some of this music, here is the link to the video from last year below …
About Guildhall Alumni Choir. GAC has been meeting at GSMD six or seven times a term since September 2014 and comprises Alumni from a variety of courses, their friends, family and students. As well as giving regular concerts at the end of term, we have given two premieres of works by Paul Carr written especially for members of the choir. One of these, Drop drop slow tears, was performed when we travelled to Béthune in 2018 to lead the concert commemorating the 1918 Armistice Centenary. This was a very emotional occasion, having as we did the support of young musicians from Germany and France.
We are delighted to welcome some of our Friends who have been able to join us and would like to thank them for their support, even when having to travel some distance.
If the idea of singing with our group is enticing (no audition required), please contact either Janie Mack jacarandamusica@sky.com or Diana Bickley dianabickley@aol.com to find out more.
