Our public Sunday services Sunday start at 10.30 am at St Mary Magdalene’s. We shall continue to stream services, as we know that a number of you cannot come to church yet, so you will receive the usual mailings this weekend.
We have organised the seats to adhere to 2m social distancing, but obviously if you come with your family you can move seats together. We can take 100 people, so there will be room for everyone.
Please enter through the south-west porch, on Rowington Close. If you cannot use the steps, please alert a sidesperson, and we will enable you to use the lift in the extension.
Please bring your own hand sanitizer, if you can, as we shall need you to sanitize on entry, and before Communion (there will be sanitizer in church, but it’s easier to use your own).
We need to make a note of your attendance as you come in, so please be patient. If you aren’t on the church electoral roll, please tell the sidespeople your name and phone number.
Please take your service sheet home with you; do not leave it in church.
Please do not hang around in church at the end of the service, but exit through the north porch.
We are not able to sing, but there will be plenty of music at the service, and we shall encourage you to hum (with your mouth closed).
When queueing please stand 2m from the person in front.
We cannot make special provision for children’s church yet.
There will be no refreshments after Mass.
The lavatories are available for use.
We are taking all necessary measures to make sure that our worship is safe. The PCCs have discussed the reopening, and a risk assessment is being carried out. If you have any questions, please do email me.
These arrangements are necessarily provisional. Until we can safely use St Peter’s again, we shall be having combined services at St Mary Mags, but we shall be constantly reviewing the details. If you have any observations or suggestions, please email me.
Yours in Christ
